Sobi strengthens cancer portfolio with $580m deal

Sobi has entered into a strategic partnership with French biotech company Innate Pharma for lacutamab, a drug candidate being developed to treat cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.

The deal could be worth up to $580m excluding future royalty payments, according to a press release.

The agreement includes an upfront payment of $75m. Innate Pharma could also receive $40m in near-term development milestone payments and up to a further $465m linked to development rights and regulatory and commercial milestones. The company will also receive tiered double-digit royalties on net sales.
